Peer Review Process
G.A.R.B.A.G.E. employs a double-blind peer review process to ensure the highest standards of academic quality and integrity.
Review Criteria
- Originality: Does the work present novel ideas or approaches?
- Methodology: Are the methods appropriate and well-described?
- Significance: Does the research contribute meaningfully to the field?
- Clarity: Is the writing clear and well-organized?
- Validity: Are the conclusions supported by the data?
Reviewer Guidelines
Reviewers are expected to:
- Complete reviews within 3 weeks of acceptance
- Maintain confidentiality of all manuscript information
- Declare any conflicts of interest
- Provide constructive, specific feedback
- Avoid personal criticism of authors
Editorial Decisions
After peer review, the Editor will make one of the following decisions:
- Accept: Manuscript is accepted as-is
- Minor Revision: Small changes needed before acceptance
- Major Revision: Significant changes required
- Reject: Manuscript does not meet publication criteria
Appeals Process
Authors who disagree with editorial decisions may submit an appeal within 30 days. Appeals should include a detailed response to reviewer comments and explain why the decision should be reconsidered.
